The Hundred year war between England and France lasted 116 years. from 1337 to 1453.

What a clearly stupid question. Of course the answer is D. The British Monarchy DID NOT come to an end, and continues as an institution to this day.

Given that England still has a monarch, I'd say the answer is obvious.... but the Wars of the Roses saw the house of Lancaster, which fought the 100 years' war, ousted, so....
