I have three 18 year old orange tree and would like to relocate and want to take them with me. Is it possible to transplant these fruit trees?

Yes it's possible, but somewhat costly and not the easiest thing to do. I've seen it done, they carefully dig around the entire root system of the tree, wrap the roots with a giant cloth, load it onto a big truck, and relocate it to a waiting hole. It's not always 100% successful, sometimes the tree dies, some are more hearty than others, alot of factors come into play, size of the tree, health of the tree, soil condition, kind of tree, local climate, etc. An 18 year old tree is obviously quite large and would be difficult and costly to relocate.

It's possible but it's too much of a hassle. How about taking some of their seeds and start a new trees. Better yet ask a professional to graft or marcote one for you from your trees. These I think would be a lot easier avenue than transporting big trees. Also your oranges are old and they might not stand to survive these ordeal. Anyway you decide, good luck.

Everything is possible for the right price! Assuming they're 18 yrs. old you will need professional help to move them.. check with your area nursery to find out how much they would charge you for that kind of service... I'm pretty sure, you'll change your mind!
If you live in Fla, check with your Ag. dept of your area with the canker problem, I'm almost sure it is illegal to move them as you can't even move or send the fruit to anyone right now.

Yes. Wrap the roots in burlap, with plenty of soil and water.
Watch out for the thorns!
Make sure you transport them in a closed vehicle, so the leaves and branches don't get windburn.

depends on how full grown is indeed -- full grown by your judgement --- in other words if it is "tub size " --- to 2 metres your a chance --- after that --- not much hope . good luck .

Yes but you will not be able to do it by yourself.You will have to hire a professional to do it,which could cost alot of money.If you need more information,why not ask your local nursery.x

i think it is imposible because full grown orenge tree is a big one
