New Delhi is called the capital of India. Its original name was Indraprastha when the Pandave kings built it. It was rebuilt by Emperor Shahjahan and named Shahjahanabad.New Delhi was designed by a britisher architect called Edward Lutyens. It is bordered by Uttar Pradesh in the east and Haryana on the other three sides.
