it can go both ways. you can meet people on line and start to talk to them a lot and get attached and start saying things like that, and planning on meeting, but then it just never ends up happening (has happened to me before). OR you can meet someone online, fall in love and get close and plan on meeting and it does happen (has also happened to me (still in love)been together 3 years and living together for 2)
so it really just depends on the 2 people and how close they are. if they get really close then they just might make that extra effort to actually make their romance a reality.

I haven't and I would find it creepy that someone would say that. I had a similar experience once when I had been flirting with a guy at work for a short time and one night out with friends we finally got round to kissing. Not 15 seconds into the first kiss and he pulls away and tells me he loves me. I was stunned and could hardly return the sentiment because I didn't mean it. I just kissed him some more and avoided him the next day! It creeped me out.

They don't love this person. They are in love with the fantasy!!! This person who thinks someone loves just because she said it over the internet is either lacking in common sense or is very impressionable. Maybe this person is mentally challenged or is looking for love any way they can get it.

Do You mean: Only met on line? Most people who use the Internet for Their own amusement are really trying to be wordsmiths to an anonymous audience, that's all.

Yes, I have and I do. Also, I always try to say exactly what I mean and to mean what I say, even if I'm typing it in an e-mail, IM, or on a message board.

I would never say those words to someone I didn't actually love. Those words are precious to me.
