Okay, I told you guys that I never give thumbs down a couple of days ago. Well, I just did. I had to just to make the answer go away--it was 100 miles long. I knew that I had to be honest with you right away.....will you still like me?

Thumbs-downs are perfectly natural. If you don't like an answer, why should you have to look at it even when skimming through to read other answers? Just be sure you're thumbs-downing for the right reasons. If your thumbs-down was 100 miles long as you suggest, it was probably some lame cut-and-paste answer that didn't require any insight or research. Those are just lame.

ButI forgive you. Love the sinner and hate the sin, after all. :)

Your allowed to change your mind. I just did a similar thing. I never really bother to report people, but I reported "Pro-Men" tonight, because he was really getting on my nerves.
But last night, there was this chick giving these longass answers about PETA, and I gave her a thumbs down, just because the answer was SOOOOO long and I didn't want to keep scrolling down.
Don't feel bad. We still ♥ you!

Yes, of course! When you say you won't do something, especially something that you specifically said you will never do, you usually end up doing it.
