So Jackson gets away with having legal action taken against innocent people, but Imus actually loses his job for remarks made in poor taste? Oh, but we can't expect an apology from Jackson because he's black, and black people don't have to apologize for anything. They're always in the right because they were once slaves (sometimes by the hand of their own people!). Why would he apologize?

He'll never do it.
And he didn't just use crude language in a thoughtless remark, he really went after them.
I've said it before. Crudity is distasteful, but it is not the same as malicious intent.

I think that if apologizing could get him some more "face time" and publicity, he would do it.
