My house is 7yrs old. I have discovered termites in one of the wardrobes.

Contact a local pest control company. They will perform an inspection to determine the total extent of the termite infestation and propose an effective treatment plan. If you don't like it, you can call another (and probably should) to get another bid. Termites are something that you cannot treat yourself and they are capable of doing extreme damage to your house.

The best way to find out is to check where the termites are coming from. In this case your house is "new" so I am assuming it was laid on concrete slab.
The best way to go is to contact a termite company to eliminate the bugs on that particular place and ask for a guarantied job, which one will be cheaper because they will only treat that particular area and two becaue if you find termites with in a year in any other place around the house they will treat it for free because it will be under guarantiee good luck and dont worry in an average it is said that before the roofers lay the roof termites already have one...

Call in professionals quick. They eat 24 hrs a day and it doesn't take long to do damage. Try to find a company, that uses the chemicals that the termites carry back to the nest or whatever you call it, colony I think, but anyway it will kill them all.
