Yeah... one nite my friends dragged me out & I was in jeans & a tank with a zip-up hoodie. I didn't even do my hair, but for some reason I had several fellas checking me out , trying to dance with me & some cutie tried to ambush & kiss me!
Ahhh... memories of my youth ;-)
(actually that was not that long ago)

To add to that... I think that alot of guys are a little intimidated by women when they are looking their hottest... & that may be why guys are afraid to approach those women. Just a guess, but I've been told that before ;-)

Of course...this is common knowledge.

It's definitely the law of inverse proportions....

Now that I am not a dater, but a housewife, I have found a corollary to this law: the worse I look, the more likely I am to run into into my most stylish friend, an old flame, my child's teacher, etc.

You may not be able to prove it scientifically, but it is true.

Well, I've been asked out over MSN when I was in an over-sized Kangaroos jersey and boy leg undies with my hair in a scruffy bun. Yea, not looking my best :P Btw, i think asking someone out over MSN is TACKY!!!

I had strep and looked like death and a guy came over to ask me out. And like you said, I have worked on myself for hours and not get a single bite. Unfair!
