In a game only one team can win and one team has to loose. It all matters the way the match was played and how big the loss was. To me in the match Sri Lankans clearly outplayed New Zeland in all departments of the game. Except Scott Styrish all other New Zeland batsmen totally failed against thje bowling of Vaaz and Muralitharan, whereas Sri Lankan batsmen applied themselves to the task and batted sensibly to win the match..

I don't think the defeat is too much for New Zealand, since they were already favorites together with Australia to go to the last four of this year's amazing edition of cricket world cup.
There only teams whose fate is not decided yet as far as progressing to the semis is concerned are RSA, SRI and ENG. Any of the other teams can still make a comeback except for Ireland. They stand no chance, as they have lost all their four matches in the super eight.

Dont think of it replaced into the media tension.. Its not linked with Sri Lankan media that bashing cricketers,, they keep that for BCCSL contributors and a few politicians.. gamers are criticized each and every so often yet they're used to it i assume.. Cant say it replaced into the strain from followers the two.. They have been for sure upset,, even heard couple of adult adult males dedicated suicide,, yet by using now human beings have forgotten the misplaced and that they get alongside with their on a daily basis lives.. little doubt Mahela is a honorable guy and o.k. respected.. With him and Sangakkara being interior the dressing room I see no politics there.. proficient human beings will earn appreciate and a form of proficient adult adult males is Angelo Mathews and he could've been given the T20 captaincy interior the 1st place.. So i might say,, even if the reason at the back of his resignation,, he took the best decision interior the top..

Not at all. New Zealand was already in the Semi. So they were a bit relaxed for the game. It would have been a good learning experience for them

Not really!!
Both the teams are too good and played to their maximum.
There was not much of pressure on the kiwis as they had already qualified to the semi.

this defeat is not going to harm NZL at all because they have already qualified for the semi final and they are going to win the world cup for the fist time.
