If your hardware is still under warranty, contact Dell for a replacement.
If not, contact Dell support. If this is a common problem, they have a solution for you.
You can try some "canned air."

The keys might be sticking. Try using some canned air and spray the dust and dirt out of your keyboard. You can also buy a keyboard cleaning kit that looks like cotton swabs you just have to be careful not to get anything stuck. Don't attempt to take it apart.

Radio Shack has a contact cleaner and lubricant. It seems the letters are dirty on the contact sheet
