There is a God, ONE GOD, revealed in THREE persons: the Father, The Word/Son, and the Holy Ghost, eternally co-existent, to which we shall ALL be accountable to after death! And He has given us a "measuring stick" by which we shall ALL be judged, called HIS WORD, THE BIBLE, which is ABSOLUTE TRUTH! And that "Divinely inspired Book of books" reveals that there IS a Heaven AND a Hell, which are BOTH eternal states of being, and in which ALL of us will be, one or the other, after we leave this world, based upon ONE thing: whether we have been SAVED BY JESUS CHRIST (God the Son) from our sins by faith in His blood sacrifice on Calvary's cross and the fact that HE IS RISEN from the dead and coming again someday to judge "the quick and the dead". Jesus is THE ONLY way of salvation, and there is NONE OTHER! Only BY HIM can people be saved and go to Heaven!!! Any "religion", philosophy, standard, belief, system, teaching, teacher, church, etc that denies this is FALSE, A LIE, OF THE DEVIL! Period! Of this I am certain!
I know this is MORE than "one thing", but I state all of these ABSOLUTE FACTS to lay the foundation for THIS one thing of which I am 100% sure: I am SAVED BY JESUS CHRIST, and therefore I HAVE ETERNAL LIFE NOW, and when I leave this world, I KNOW BEYOND A SHADOW OF A DOUBT that I will go to HEAVEN and be WITH JESUS FOR EVER! Because I trust IN HIM and NOT MYSELF or any OTHER human agency! As a well-known children's hymn says, "Jesus loves me, this I know, For the Bible tells me so!....Yes, Jesus loves me, THE BIBLE tells me so!"
And that is the "bottom line" of ALL this: I KNOW FOR SURE that my King James Bible IS GOD'S WORD, ABSOLUTE TRUTH that no man can EVER prove false! It is my "sure foundation", still relevant for today, still applicable, still unshaken by "the critics"! Because it is GOD'S TRUTH! It is REALITY, not FANTASY! Amen!
