Ford owners run their mouths trying to look good because they have a lot of time to think of what they are going to say to the Chevy owners while their cars are in for repairs. Ford owners hate all GM owners because stock, the only Ford that can beat a stock GM is a Mustang Cobra, not even the GT500 could beat a Z28 Camaro. Of course, if the Ford owner actually babied their car like the GM owner does and then built it up, then maybe the Ford would beat the GM and they woul finally have room to run their mouths a little more. From experience, the only Ford that has beat my 13 second WS-6 was an SVO Mustang (turbo charged).

Because there has been the rivalry between the two makes. The Ford had the upper hand from 1932 till 1955 with the Flathead v8, Chevy had only an in line 6. Then the playing field was level. The two makes had comparable power, The TBird almost killed the corvette off as tbirds had hi power V8s' and the vette was a in line 6 in 1955 that all changed . With 90 some years Ford and Chevy have been rivals, On any given day one will beat the other in some competition. I've had both, a 1969 Fairlane Cobra 428 SuperCobrajet that was a killer, the 428 is a stroker motor and made tons of torque. I've had a 1956 Chevy with a 327 365 horse vette motor that was wicked. Right now the Mustang's from the 80's to 2004 Models are light weight v8 assassins. So it depends what you like, In Nascar Chevy has won 601 races Ford 572. So ya pay your money and takes your chances. GO Ford

Well some of these ford fans must work at Walmart...because they keep running thier mouth....and yet the strokers can't take the pressure under full load. The smart idea of overfueling apparently didn't work because they cracked heads and blocks. The cooling systems for the old and the new strokers still can't handle the overfueling, the cooling system can't take a full load when under full boost pressure. Then there is the dumbass special stroker clutch on the 250 Super duty....what a joke that is. Ford needs to do a little bit more research before they send their stuff out to the ignorant consumers. Built Ford Tough...If I had a stroker up my *** then I'd have a sore butt too just like the rest of u ignorant Ford freaks. Thats why you see a Cummins pulling a stroker on the flatbed. Most people just run their mouth because they own one and don't know any of the Oil system problems, cooling problems, fueling problems, air intake problems, exhaust problems, drivetrain problems, and meeting emissions before they buy one.

I work in a garage, and the only reason I chose my Ranger over an S-10 was the ratio of Rangers to S-10 i see, or Fords to Chevrolets I see. It seems I get about 15 Fords into the shop a month, compaired to about 50 Chevrolets. Not all of these are trucks. Most of the Fords I see are Windstars or Escorts. While with Chevrolet, I see everything from Grand Am's to 1500 to 3500, to Metro's. Almost all the Fords we get in are for common problems, and then the random odd problem, and with Chevrolets in the shop, they are almost all random problems, and then a few common problems. I see many cliants bringing their Chevrolets back for problem after problem, and I rarly see any Ford coming back for other problems. I do see this every so often, so don't think i'm saying it doesnt' happen. I picked a Ford truck over a Chevrolet truck, as I have seen 6 Chevrolet trucks this week, and I have only seen 1 Ford truck this week, and that was a company truck that brought their truck in for thier tools to move a hoist and set up a hoist for us. Other then that, I have seen maybe 10 Ford trucks for repairs since I've been at this shop (2 years). This is not counting small things like oil changes, and maintance like brakes, either, this is counting tow ins, and problems resulting in major repairs. Reliability factor for a Ford is there as it seems its lacking in a Chevrolet. However, I would pick a Chevrolet over an import anyday.

Because ford owners get jealous about chevy owners. Once the ford owner gets over 60000 miles they realize that by taking the cheap way they are now only running on 14 lbs of oil pressure while the chevy is still pumping out 65. Have you driven a ford lately? Thats pretty accurate, you really have to drive them when the suspension is shot after 25000 miles.

Well I like all of the big three. I spend most of my time under fords and the rest of my time hauling away Chevy’s. GM just wants too much for their parts when they break down. People are (Who knows why) willing to repair a ford. Honestly All Cars are piles. If we actually (Even the Honda and Toyota people) took the time and engineered a car together with the best of all the worlds we would have a car that would run on brain power and not pollute the world. But because Money talks and no one wants to listen to the BS we are stuck having to work on the hunk of junks every day. Quite frankly I think both Ford and Chevy people suffer from the bigger dick policy. It goes something like this "WHAT? He has a bigger DICK? Lets get'em"

I have had a number of either one, and I have always wound up with another good running Mustang or F series truck.
I can't say that about my chevy's...
I currently have a 1986 F350 crewcab, longbed, duallie diesel that will outpull almost every truck I know in my town, and especially my niece's boyfriends Chevy.
I had a 1981 F100 that pulled a 16X80 mobile home down the road, without any problems.
I never had any Chevy's that could work that hard.

I personally think that those that want to look good getting groceries, buy a Chevy. Those that want to work buy a Ford.

Because ford didn't need a government bail out and then here Oboma over and over say he was the savior of General Motors during his realection, why I'll never own a GM product!!

Because the Henry Ford died a rich famous bastard and Louis Chevrolet sold out to William Durant and ended up dying broke in Florida (oh and Chevrolet was a Frenchmen). So basically it's all history.
