Before, the whole controversy happened with what he said on his program? I personally, never heard of Imus, until this whole thing blew up. What about you? Were you a faithful listener of his program? Did you ever even hear of him before this big controversy unraveled?

yes I did listen to his show. I didn't always like what he said but he is a good person he has done much for kids with cancer and our wounded troops and much more he has a very big heart he has had a very ruff past as he is a recovering addict. he has a very strong personality and at times his mouth over loads his brain:-) but every time I see Al sharpton or Jessy Jackson their mouth over loads their brain.
any how Don Imus wont be on the show but I think his wife and his friend Charles will be doing the last radio show in the morning the station is allowing the show to air in the morning because it is the yearly radiothon for kids with cancer.
the station is WFAN in New York. I truly hate to see him go.
I don't know if msnbc will air the telethon,it would be nice.

He rates right up there with the other radio guy I have much distaste for and is just as ugly too. Have known who Imus is for awhile and has nothing to do with being old. Has to do with paying attention to what goes on in the world. He's what's known as a "shock jock". Give me "Prairie Home Companion" any day. Now there's a show for us OLDER PEOPLE.
