Like a nail or screw something like that. You just find it and didn't even know what it went to but it must be important cause you found it.

Oh yeah. Then I put it somewhere safe until I find out what it goes to. Then I forget where I put it. Or I keep it around for a year, finally throw it away thinking , "well if I haven't found it in a year I never will ", and the day after they pick up the trash I find out what it goes to (which is usually something I REALLY need to use at the moment). Lifes funny, eh?

I find weird crap at least every other week.. The other day I found a little bolt piece..My husband had no idea where it came from either... Now... .My kid was away.. My dog is afraid of everything and even a bolt would b too much for him to handle.. So How the Heck did this dang thing get in the middle of my living room floor?
So.... It goes in the everything drawer in the kitchen.... All types of stuff in that drawer,Screws, bolts, pens, markers, check stubs, hammer, thread, receipts, pamphlets....
Now.. Don't u find it odd how silverware and dishes or pots and pans come up missing....

I just put all the little screws, and bolts I find in the drawer, with all the others Ive found. My junk Drawer. Then one day when I finally find out what they were for, I look in this drawer for them. Sadly many have been lost in this drawer for years. Eventually we end up putting them in the trash when they rust, or we pour them in an old bucket with the nails. Yeah thats right, the nails go in a bucket. :>)

Just the other day. Someone picked up a bolt from the driveway where I've been pressure washing. I figured it must've come from the P/W itself but the guy said that kind of bolt was not from a P/W. He's a guy. I believed him ... sort of but as soon as he left I checked it out and sure enough ... it was from the P/W and one of the reasons it was leaking oil. It happens a lot. I find something and then spend days, weeks, even months trying to figure out where it belongs. I have about a 60% success rate.

I don't have kids, and even when I haven't bought new products, or used anything different I find everything from screws, nails, little plastic/rubber plugs etc. I have a little box in a drawer for these just in case.

Not often, but when I do, I put them in a container.

The container has things I found, but don't know where they go. I keep them thinking they are important and I will find out where they belong.

Some of the things have been in there so long - I do not even remember ever seeing them before in my life!!!!

I just put it in my junk drawer and if I havent used it by the time I clean it out again (which is twice a year) I throw it away. If it is something I know will be useful at sometime I never throw it away.
