I would rather spend it defeating international terrorism than spend it on Johnson's war on poverty and end up with more poor people than when he started.

Well, since Reagan's star wars was one of the factors that broke the back of communism and sent Russia into economic turmoil by trying to keep up, I certainly hope bush is as successful

Both were useless...the USSR fell on itself, not from anything the US did. And the War in Iraq hasn't solved anything.
