I am not Catholic but I do know alot about religion. Even though it was wrong not to wait till you were married no sin is bigger than another in Gods eyes, getting pregnant is the same as stealing a cracker. I am not sure if you are still allowed to partake in communion, you should talk to your pastor. If you aren't allowed to they aren't being good Christians them selves the Bible teaches us to forgive and going to communion gives you a senses of relief. If they don't want you at the Lords Supper maybe you should try a diffrent branchs of Christianity, Such as Lutheran, Baptist, Methodist the list could go on forever. Good luck with the wedding and the baby and Gods blessings. Please spell God with a capital "G".

People are idiots.
The 'biggest' sin is denying the Holy Spirit.
Did you sin? YES- or you wouldn't have gotten pregnant.
Can you receive Communion- YES- BUT BUT BUT...
Not until you have made a sacramental confession of fornication- AND only if you do not intend to have sex again until after your marriage.... You didn't 'just happen' to get pregnant. You knew what you were doing was wrong.
Abotion is a much bigger sin than getting pregnant outside of marriage.

This is not true.
Fornication is not as grave a sin as abortion, the murder of an innocent human being.
Any sin can be forgiven and an unmarried pregnant woman is welcome both at Mass and the Eucharist (Holy Communion).
We just welcomed a unmarried pregnant woman as a new Catholic at the Easter Vigil Mass.
With love in Christ.

No this is not true, in the Catholic faith there are opportunities for confession; however, the priest will be a little judgemental, but God is the one who forgives. Obviously you are just wondering, but all sins are equal, and there are no awkward questions when it comes to religion, so don't be afraid to ask away. Afterall you're just curious.

won't be able to anticipate what he's gonna do. yet because of the fact which you asked, right this is what i think of you need to/shouldn't do: Worst achievable subject to do is have an abortion. you have a clean life interior of you which you get to convey into the international. Congratulations. some women human beings would supply something to have the blessing that has come to you. each little thing is all appropriate to the toddler now. 2d worst and dumbest subject you need to in all risk do is straight away marry the father of the toddler. unusual because it seems, marrying him suitable now ought to screw up your life greater effective than you ever dreamed of. My wager (and that i'm merely a Catholic layman) is that an annulment must be argued for the clarification of duress. Like a gambler would propose: do no longer chase your losses. Ask the Church for help. you will discover it to be a source of non secular convenience besides as a source of useful desires like diapers and foodstuff. you will additionally be waiting to get the counseling you need to verify on no count if this is acceptable for the father of your toddler to be your husband besides.

it's not such a big deal anymore, especially if you are engaged. If you feel guilty or akward, just go to confession before you take communion again. God forgives all your sins.

To sum up in a few brief sentences the titles of a Catholic Priest:
He is a king, reigning not over unwilling subjects, but over the hearts and affections of his people.
His spiritual children pay him not only the tribute of their money, but also the tribute of their love which royalty can neither purchase nor exact.
He is a shepherd, because he leads his flock into the delicious pastures of the Sacraments and shelters them from the wolves that lie in wait for their souls.
He is a father, because he breaks the bread of life to his children, whom he has begotten in Christ Jesus through the Gospel.[I. Cor. iv. 15.]
He is a judge, whose office it is to pass sentence of pardon on self-accusing criminals.
He is a physician, because he heals their souls from the loathsome distempers of sin.

Only if you tell the priest.
Otherwise, keep your mouth shut about it and the Roman Catholic church won't keep you from receiving communion.
