Come sometime in may in australia there will be a web site & you then can have it stopped but not australian charities they will still ring you.
you can leave the phone off the hook when they ring but they may get angry & ring you in the middle of the night so its best to just say you dont want anything & then hang up

What I do is say "Please wait a moment while I get the party you wish to speak to." The, lay the reciever down, (Without hanging up.) and go back to whatever I was doing. The caller is paying for the time that yor're not talking to them.

No, ur the only one in the entire planet they call! lol! (couldn't resist)

Deal with them the way u do with ANY phone solicitor. Hang up, say "no, thank u", etcc.. It's American companies the work for anyway.

Yes. When I'm not feeling creative, I just tell them that I already subscribed

If you live in the US, you can register at https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx and never get another sales call. ;)

I just never pick up my home phone. Use cell phone 99.9% of the time.

No, but the county jail lets the inmates collect call anyone they please. I get those phone calls all the time. I don't know anyone in jail!
