No. I think he's been looking forward to a long retirement anyway so he can write another funny book and then go to Satellite Radio just like his buddy Howard Stern.

Heck, we could even set up a radio show called the Imus & Louis show featuring Don Imus and Louis Farrakhan and they can call each other stupid, ugly names all day long. I think they'd both get off on that.

yes I do,, but most of the running are Republicans like former, Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum,, that Imus supported in the November 2006 mid term elections,,, but Mr. Santorum lost because he called people names,, and he was an idiot,,

Since when is Imus a liberal? Is he a liberal the same as Faux news tried to label Foley as a liberal? So in order to avoid embarrassment, you label any rightie who f***s up as a liberal.

He may not think it should be this big a deal, but if he's any kind of smart, he knows the world does not support this kind of talk anymore.
I don't know what kind of liberal would defend some old dude who throws out racial slurs like candy at a Christmas parade.

What he said wasn't appropriate for the audience he was speaking to or the group he was talking about. No one should come to his defense. He has appologized so that should be that. Whether he deserved to lose his job is questionable. I think not.

They never would come to his aid for a racial statement. If it would have been an anti-christian statement, they would ALL be standing in line to back him up.
