I think drinking a lot of water and exercising helps allot. The important thing is to keep trying. Start with setting some rules. Like no smoking in the house or car. When you start limiting the places you smoke, you will smoke less. This will make it easier to quit in time. And if you sneak one occasionally, that's OK. Just do your best after your moment of weakness, and everyone who tries to quit has them, just keep trying.

a couple keys are eliminate all caffenated beveraged, hot and cold, drink lots of water exercise to burn off energy and go to a Breathe Free stop smoking seminar. The physical effects are gone in about 3 days but the reasons why you smoke have to be understood to stay smoke free. The cost is less that $30 on average and results are super. Program has been going since 1959 so proven.

Try using Allen Carr’s Easyway To Stop Smoking. You can buy the book, watch the DVD or attend an Allen Carr Clinic. All Allen Carr therapists have been smokers and have used his method to quit. Providing you have an open mind, you will find this method not only easy but enjoyable. It doesn’t have to be traumatic. Smokers make it hard for themselves because they don’t go about it the right way. Check out the website www.allencarr.com.au to find out more.

Don't take it personally when you beat the hell out of each other. Every success to you both. Even together it is very hard and you never lose the urge so don't expect to.

It can be expensive, but I know a couple of people who have succeeded with hypnosis. Costs around $350.
