GUYS: How bad is 'Blue Balls'?

Generally.. does it actually hurt that much? And anything else you'd like to share. :)

I would have to describe it as a dull aching pain churning in my balls. Its not pleasant and the only times I've ever experienced it are when an anticipated night of sex with a girl didn't materialize. For me, anyway, the fastest course of relief is to masturbate to the point of ejaculating several times and shoot it as far as I can. Shortly thereafter the feeling of "blue balls" goes away.

The condition more accurately called pelvic congestion is very real and very painful. It results from the pelvic area being engorged with blood for an extended period of time. During arousal extra blood is pumped into the entire region not just into the penis. After a time the area becomes tender and the cramp like feeling can spread even causing nausea, much like a guy getting hit in the crotch. This doesn't mean you have to put out to save him! ( I have a daughter too) But please, a little sensitivity would not hurt. Perhaps long make out sessions that are only going to lead to frustration are not a real good idea. Can you find something else to do to take up more of your time together? Can you find some way of limiting the make out time? (Mom wants me home early tonight. Or...whatever) It may be fun for you to have this guy all hot and bothered for hours on end but you should know that his system is under pressure and it gets painful. If this happens too frequently there is the possibility of complications setting in, such as seeing another girl.

It's probably hard to imagine if you're not a guy. I know women who think it's funny to kick a guy down there. They have no idea how sensitive the area is. In the case of blue balls, basically you've got the sperm worked up to a fever pitch, right on the point of release, then you force it to work its way back into the testicles through a tangle of tubes called the vas deferens. Trust me, it hurts, to the point that walking can be difficult for 20 minutes. (I'd tell you it feels like getting one pinched, but you have no point of reference there, either:-(

It hurts a _lot_ but its also rare.

I've had it twice, ever, and I'm 31.

Its a painful cramping that in my case went from kind of part way down the inner thigh up to and including lower abs. It was hard to stand straight.

Ejaculation in any form drops the pain considerably.

Doesn't hurt that much,but we like to make out it does so we can get off. The urge to get off becomes almost irresistable once we get to a certain point of arousal. The 'blue balls' aren't so bad, but the urge is.

That I've only heard as an expression to give a meaning of someone taking advantage of someone else...as in "you Blue Ballin' me!!!????"
otherwise....unless some kid were to kick a guy in the privates...yes that would hurt and sometimes cause blue balls (bruise)....silly question. LOL

Blue balls is no subject to be taken lightly.....no really it hurts not real bad but keeps hurting till you get the "stuff" out.

You can get blue balls if they ( testicles) are hit .Normally it is painful .Even a tap with a finger gives horrible pain.

Normally the pain remains for a day or so but if severe then you have to see a doctor. Sometimes you may get hydrocele ( the testicles become big) and it has to be operated.

Pain down there is persistent, and it travels. I don't think women know how much anything hurts down there. You really feel it up your stomach.
