I am currently living in Georgia and im wondering what's the youngest age you can get a job. What job what that be. I heard that publix, chick-fil-a, sonic, or the dollar store hire 14 year olds. Is this true? Any other choices/names would be nice. THANKS! ANDD btw where could you get a job permit?

Go to your state's government website and see the state laws. Usually minors can only work a limited number of hours and need a permit if under 18. 14 year olds aren't supposed to be working - they're supposed to be in school. Unless your a child actor, ( I was) in which case your work will be very strictly regulated and the proceeds you get may be subject to various restrictions to prevent you or your parents from squandering it.
If you're 14 and want to earn some money, best bet to take take Daddy's lawnmower and work your way around the block offering to mow lawns on the weekends.

I know in Pennsylvania you must be 14 to get a job. Different employers hire at different ages. You make have better luck looking at a locally owned business that a chain operation. You should be able to get you working papers(job permit) at your high school office, it then has to be filled out, you must have a physical and it has to be returned to the school office they will then give you a working permit to take to your employer.

Yeah some fast food places will take 14 years old w/ permit, but you'll only have certain hours to wrok like maybe only 3 hours a day [school days]

work permits up north come from the school board in the county of residence so call them and ask them about it in the north and all of america i think you have to be 16 to have awork permit i could be wrong but i dont think so

you can get part time jobs at age 15 like at randalls...but you can get jobs like babysitting at age 12
