My doorbell is loud too, and it always catches me off guard. I also have a knocker that no one uses, and it says "Pugmore." I guess I could get off of my butt and go to Home Depot or Lowes and get a doorbell with a sound that I like. Too bad you can't download and change the tune whenever you want to. You know, a monkey call or a horse laugh would be kind of fun once in a while.

We have a knocker on our door and its hardly ever used. The only person thats ever used it is my sister. Even the pizza delivery people just knock on the door. Its kind of annoying sounding. Its hard to hear so we really have to be listening if someone uses the knocker. Its like a little "plink plink" sound. I hate it.

We have a door bell but it isn't loud enough if we are upstairs in our bedrooms. It's bad if someone knocks on the door, also, as we can't hear that either when we are upstairs. The only way anyone can reach us while we are in our bedrooms is if someone calls us.
