Frankly, I have no idea why he's still on. I've TRIED to watch his broadcast, but before two minutes pass, I get seriously ill. I find that changing the station always clears up the condition, though.
As for his journalistic abilities, Mr. Olbermann makes Rosie O'Donnell look like Edward R. Murrow.

Olbermann's great. He regularly lampoons Faux News and Bill O'Reilly with very pointed facts and outtakes. The guy's funny as hell, sorry, he's got anyone on Fox or CNN beat all to hell when it comes to getting the day's news with a sarcastic/humorous attitude. Sometimes it's good to be able to laugh at the flailing about of the nitwits in Washington instead of wanting to tear your hair out.

Apparently, to repubs today, truth feels like hate.
How you can support a man who caused the death of tens of thousands of innocent people and call someone who talks about it a hate merchant is really truly mind-boggling. What thought processes have to occur to reach these bizzaro perspectives?

If you mean Keith Olbermann, he is one smart man who is able to challenge Bill O'Reilly and all those bull dog conservatives out there with precise and logical come backs.
He is a joy to watch; I am so rooting for him.
