I'm not sure but I think you may be talking about Ann Richards.
She was a civil servant and she died at over 100 years of age with a 100 million dollar plus net worth. She left almost all of it to a Yeshiva University. If you want to do the same thing I hope you are patient. It took her over 60 years to get that rich. Hope I helped.
