no one actually knows fully enough how the brain actually works, all the "evidence" they have are from trials and past patients, the only real experiments are us people and are still currently running as we speak- eg you are one, I am one and anyone who becomes a mental health patient is one....doctors will always be learning new things from their patients, no two are identical in the same way a disease will often repeat its symptoms exactly the same in each of the sufferers (e.g "you have a cold? did it start off with a sore throat?- ah yes thats how mine started, I must have given it to you- sorry! it gets worse before it get better,"
Likewise, mental health is most often diagnosed as a problem by the sufferer rather differently than a physical illness which is often diagnosed by a doctor saying your temperature is very high...etc.
See a doctor and talk through your worries, still not feeling ok? see another doctor and also see a psychiatrist.
Hyperchondria is also a mnetal health problem by the way- not that I'm saying you have this- but if you did have several different doctors all say everything is fine, you can get help for it. Though with symptoms like yours I dont think you need to worry about being called a hypochondiac- you need help mate, wierd visions are not NOT NOT normal at all!

The fractured jaw could be causing any number of problems. The body is very sensitive and I can imagine stuff like that could have a knock on effect. To be honest it sound like something neurological is going on and you need to see a doctor asap to rule out anything worrying. I think you perhaps had a knock to the head and you need to go to the hospital very soon indeed. Please do get some help, without wanting to worry you I think it's imperitive.
