Why should there be an age limit?

Never! Really it's a personal preference like any form of entertainment. But just like manga, anime comes in a huge range and style aimed at different age groups.
The whole problem is that most adults perceive anime as cartoons and have this belief that cartoons are not something adult should watch. But if you think about it, who do you think makes cartoons and anime? Children? No, there are people out there who have a strong passion and invest in their future so they can create cartoons and anime as a career or life goal.

well I don't think there's an age limit to anime. The thing that changes is the type of anime. For me, I went from Sailor Moon to InuYahsa, to Death Note. I hate how people can say OMG! You're 13, and still watch cartoons? Anime is just like any other TV show, just drawn.

people say live for a lifetime learn for a life ,so why should we stop watching anime !!!
SO we should live for a lifetime, watch anime for a lifetime !

i dont think there is a age limit to which a person liking anime. many adults like them. It is for entertainment, but it the images could give a negative influence to some.

anime isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I dont recommend anime for very young viewers, anyone under 10 years old just wouldnt get it.
I don't think the people who do like anime should ever stop watching it unless it becomes an obsession nin which case, a break is NECESSARY

Hm... 373... no... 3734411 years old! You shouldnt stop watching anime if you like it! Its like saying, what age limit should people stop liking what they love to do! If people like watching anime, then they shouldnt stop because it makes them look immature! Or for WHATEVER reason!! They should do what they want!

Never!!!!!!! with shows like mamoru kun ni megami no shufuku wo! out there that show a movie in a episode with such love that you actually cry when something good happens and for those who shune anime dont diss till youve tried :P
