The Flood account in the Book of Genesis is also corroborated by the world's population statistics. Today, we're taught that humans evolved about 2 million years ago. Then why are there only 6 billion people in the world?
In the year 2000, the world's population topped 6 billion. In 1985, it passed 5 billion. In 1977, it topped 4 billion. In 1962, it passed 3 billion. In 1930, the world's population was approximately 2 billion. In 1800, it was approximately 1 billion.
Based on census DATA, scholars estimate the world's population was about 1/4 billion at the time of Christ (1 AD). The Flood was approximately 4,400 years ago, with 8 human survivors. If we follow the population growth curve, we see that the world's human population could have come from 4 couples 4,400 years ago. It seems the human population growth rate is about 2% per year.
Well, what about all of the wars, famines, plagues, etc? Take the Black Plague for example. It killed off 1/3 of Europe's entire population. Yet, in less than 100 years, the population bounced back and surpassed the original population. This is because the infrastructure was already established. The world's population took a dive during World War II, but immediately came back with the baby boomers. After a great loss, there is always a massive boom.
The bottom line is this: if humans have been around for 1 million years (half of the 2 million presupposed by evolutionists), according to the current growth rate, the world's human population should be 10^8600. That's a 10 with 8,600 zeros after it! Double that if you believe its 2 million years old. 16 million years, some think. Then we need 10^51600 zeros after it!
BEAR in mind: logic dictates the simplest answer is true.

but i've never believed the earth was that old anyways..
on account of the noah's flood or great deluge or whatever people want to call it..
that flood in itself had to affect the carbon in the atmosphere/altered it somehow and ive always believed that today's carbon dating technologies could never be accurate because of that
but then im no scientist..

I think you missed a zero...
But think of it this way,...
The human population, starting from right now - today - will probably never get above 40 or 50 billion (even given another million years), because the earth's resources just aren't enough to sustain so many people. (unless we colonize another planet)
The hunter-gatherer lifestyle, likewise, can't sustain more than a certain (limited) number of humans... cross this number, and starvation and death ensue. Thus, the human population was kept low until agriculture was invented about 10,000 years ago. Wars and plagues are only a minor population check.
And try to imagine this... a million years from now, one of our descendants will be adamantly denying our 21st century existence because the earth is still only 4 or 5 thousand years old...
P.S. Many Christians accept the Biblical creation as allegorical.
And don't forget that the Bible says that the sun moves around the earth. The Medieval church burned people at the stake for thinking otherwise. So (logically) if you want to use the Bible as a science text, then you'd better revise your view of our solar system

If there was a world wide flood there would be a very obvious signature in the geology. There is no such signature. Your number is totally baseless. Humans were almost extinct at one point. There were less than 2,000. Finally, the moon is moving away from the Earth about an inch a year. It is fun how that was first figured out. There are tidal rocks that show the influence of the Moon over millions of years. Geologist that looked at them said that the day used to be shorter and the tides more extreme. This lead them to be able to calculate that the Moon was closer and slowly moving out, with the amount that it moves out accelerating. This has since been checked with direct measurement by bouncing a laser off a mirror that was left during the Apollo missions. Now you want me to believe that these guys figured out such a thing, but they have no idea how old the rocks that they used to do it are.

The answer to your question is that the Earth is probley no more than 1000000 years old and man kind is only 1/10 of that old. Some where around 10000 years maybe. According to the bible. If Dinosaurs were 65 million years old then why in Dinosaur Valley State Park in Glen Rose, Texas exist and has been proven not to be a hoax a human foot print along with Dinosaur prints in the creek bead as though the Dinosaur was being tracted?

First, mankind couldn't have come from only two people. Why? Because science has shown that a stable gene pool requires many more than that.
Secondly, science has proved that the world is older than 100,000,000 years old. That takes care of your Bible theory.
I'm not an atheist or anti-religion, but if given a choice between a scientific explanation and a book that's been rewritten and translated and deleted and censored for two thousand years, logically it makes sense to choose science.

you're making the assumption that the growth rate is constant over the course of 2 million years when you only know the growth rate for the last 4,000. That's 0.2% of the total time that you're expecting the entire rest of the 99.8% to follow. Not only that but the growth rate that your measuring is during a period when the life expectancy and infant mortality rate drastically declined due to advances in medicine and sanitation.
I don't think your argument is valid because you methods are flawed.

im going to say that children born back then probally didnt survive like they do today. I'm sure life was alot harder back then, we didnt have sanitation, which is a big life saver nowadays. i dont believe in the flood because if the whole earth was covered in water then all the salt water would mix with all the fresh water and kill off all the animals who lived in those waters. fresh water fish cant survive in salt water and vise versa. do you think its possible for 8 people to take care of all those animals on the ship? thier had to be thousands and thousands if not millions of animals. whats to keep the carnivores from eating some of the other animals anyways. your math works only in perfect circumstance's. which earth doesnt have.

The growth curve over a million years is not constant. Disease and famine were virulent in the early years. However, Homo Sapiens Sapiens have only been on the planet for 60,000 years not one million. Plus note that all our forebears are EXTINCT. At approx. 60,000 years there was at most maybe 10,000 people. We were almost extinct ourselves! Please get your facts straight before sounding off.

as we learn in statistics, any data can be manipulated to arrive at a certain conclusion,,,,, to me, you have mixed the age of the earth,,,, with the age of humans,,,,,,, also,,,,,,, birth rates, while fairly predictable now,,,, were not so much so in the past,,,,,,, people died,,,,, much more often,,,,, many people did not live to an age to procreate,,,,,,, those who did, lost many children,,,,,, in infancy and youth,,,,,,,, it would be very odd to find a woman nowdays who had 12 children, yet only one or two of those lived to have children of their own,,,,
so you , there again to me, are taking modern day terms, expectations, and trying to apply them to ancient times
