Reverse the x and y then solve for y: x=1/y+6
x-6=1/y
y=1/(x-6)

First express the function as an equation.
y=1/x+6
Solve for x.
y-6=1/x+6-6
y-6=1/x
1/(y-6)=x
x=1/(y-6)

Now rewrite as F^-1(x), replacing y in the previous equation as x:
F^-1(x)=1/(x-6)
