The light reflected from the house I just burnt down. It was the only way to kill the gremlins.

a glare in your eyes can either be the sun reflecting in your eyes or a bright light etc or it can be an angry look you get in your eyes ---as when you glare at someone

it's an expression used when someone looks happy like when they're in love. It's just a "sparkle" or reflection of light in the cornea of your eye.
