It doesn't matter whether global warming is caused by man or the sun. And I disagree with anyone who uses this issue to harm others in any way. The reason I think it is stupid, is because there is no denying that our air is polluted, and there is no denying that our water is polluted. The top soil is depleted, the rain forest is being depleted, and there are too many land fills....I could go on and on. The point is, that we need to clean up our act anyway, or this planet will become unliveable...so global warming is not the real issue, unless some people want to make it an issue, just to further their own political agendas, which is....to my way of thinking...wrong and immoral, in and of itself.

I can't honestly say what side I agree with on the issue of whether global warming is caused by man or by the sun. My point is that it doesn't matter whether we are causing it or not, because pollution is real, and that is a given. We need to clean up this planet, regardless!

My point is that it is an indisputable fact that pollution is real, and we need to clean up this planet. The debate about whether or not pollution causes global warming is irrelevent in light of the fact that A. we know that global warming is real regardless of what is causing it, and B. we know that pollution is real regardless of whether or not it is causing global warming. Why can't we just clean up the planet whether pollution is causing global warming or not, and if it is, then global warming will take care of itself. But, if global warming is a natural phenomenon, caused by the sun, we can still have cleaner air to breathe, and cleaner water to drink, etc. Why can't we stop debating this issue, and just go on and do what needs to be done for this planet, and for the future of our species.
And I am offended by any politicians who use issues like this to further their own agendas, especially if they are in any way furthering the agenda of the New World Order!

I agree with you.The debate is very stupid.Politics should not be a factor in science. So many people seem to be influenced by the Mega-capitalists who control the media. How do so many people believe that media owned by major defense contractors(G.E.,R.C.A.,etc.)are somehow, liberal? Almost any question that you can ask can be answered by ''Follow the money''.Recently, some major corporations have figured out that global warming,(climate change is a more accurate term)pollution, and general disregard for the state of the planet,is not the smart path to take.If their customers are dead, their profits will not be healthy either.

Industry is what motives all air pollution on the planet & as you understand is the principal reason of Global Warming. So in the event you attempt to lessen the greenhouse gases that reason Global warming you are going to must lessen all enterprise all over the world and that might imply cleanser oceans, rivers, land, extra rain woodland stored, extra fish stored, a larger cleanser total earth. (to not point out much less oil cash to fund terrorists). I have no idea if Gore is making an attempt to larger his political time table, he typically is, however he nonetheless makes an excessively legitimate argument approximately no longer simply how fundamental it's to give up international warming however that it's going to additionally gradual down all air pollution prompted through enterprise.

Many people agree with you. We are debating on how to stop the natural life cycle of the planet. how arrogant man has become to believe that we have the power to stop something as significant as our ever changing planet. the earth ahs cycled through global warming and ice ages long before man, and will continue long after we are gone. Global warming is as natural as breathing is for us. The debate is nothing but a scare tatic by the liberals to reduce the use of fosil fuels which would also reduce the number of rich corporations. The eventual detruction of this nation and rebuilding as a socialist society is the ultimate goal here, and global warming is just a toll to get there.

Somewhere between the hysteria and denial, a truth exists. A truth that the United States is working harder than any other nation to reduce pollution.

Global warming has been hijacked be the radical left as a means to wage their war against capitalism. It is the new religion of the left, and they have the liberal media as their
knowing accomplices.

Ethanol, biodiesel, and electric cars are only band-aid solutions and economically too costly.

When hydrogen fuel cells become stable enough for consumers use, it will change the face of the world.

Sure is - really stupid! After all, who gives a damn if polar ice caps melt and cause major flooding, severe weather conditions, and temperature changes along the coasts of both major oceans, killing millions of people?
And who cares if remote Eskimo tribes are decimated? Why should THEY have any right to live their lives as they have for centuries when it interferes with OUR modern lifestyle of convenience and waste?
And so what if polar bears no longer roam the Arctic wilderness/ After all, God certainly had no purpose in putting them there!
And why should we re-use, reduce, and recycle when it's so much more convenient to simply toss all our 'stuff' in the trash and bury it in a landfill?
And why can't we chop down rain forests so we can graze cattle and consume cheap Big Macs? Forget about all those species that survive in the jungles - how can they possibly be of any value to this Earth?
Yeah, global warming IS stupid. Really stupid! Let's all make a pact to continue squandering all of the Earth's natural resources until our grandchildren can't breathe without gas masks, can't drink fresh water, and can't find enough to eat - after all, we're here! -RKO- 04/12/07

If your point is that it is ridiculous to debate it when it is simple to alter and hopefully reverse the situation, then, yes, I agree the debate is stupid. It should be a cut and dried matter of simple legislation. Unfortunately, there are some very powerful republican fat cats wanting us to believe that global warming doesn't exist.

If your point is that it is ridiculous to debate because it's not real, then your question is stupid.

The debate is not stupid, global warming is happening. It is the people that believe the hype that says man is the cause who are stupid.

Global warming on Earth is caused by the same thing that causes it on other planets. It is that big yellow thing in the sky.

There will likely be a majority of stupid people who will agree w. you but in one sense you are correct in that brain washing and indoctrination by people who wish to shift a greater burden of taxation onto the poor have largely taken the place of debate; hopefully that is the aspect that you are complaining about.

apparently in the next 500 years were supposed to go through an ice age, which sounds pretty cool. pun intended
