I thought the ending could have been a little bit happier. Too depressing but well done. What are your opinions>?

It was very good. Well acted. And the fact that the main character stayed focused on his dream.... what an inspiration.
Yes, it was depressing at points. But it was LIFE!

I liked this movie. The only thing that could have been better is if they didn't have such a rich star (Will Smith) playing a homeless guy. The producers made up for this though by having Smith's son (Jaden Smith) play Chris Jr. I also liked that they paid actual homeless people to be extras in the movie. Overall, I think that this is Will Smith's best performance (besides of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air) and it was a great story (especially becuase it was true).

I honestly thought the movie was awesome...It could happen to anyone( its based on a true story) the way that he did all that to make his life, and his sons life better was amazing to me...It shows you that coming from a bad situation anyone could turn their situation around....It also gives people hope to show them that he did it, i can too..Also that they put Will Smith in the movie( with his adorable son) was great too...It was one of the best movies i have seen in a LONG time.....

It was a well made movie, and Will Smith was phenomonal and it was very uplifting at the end.. but the whole thing seemed rather dull and depressing.

I didn't think the end was depressing at all. I'm not going to ruin it for others, but I was very happy at the end.

I thought it was great. I agree with you, but since it was based on a true story, I don't think they wanted to change it too much. Will Smith was great and he deserves to win an Oscar one day...

it was based on a true story...but with all the hipe that the movie had gotton. it was a bit dissapointed as it was not what i expected it to be.i was expecting a bit more with what they had all over tv.i think i saw it all on there so it was nothing special when i went and watched it in the cinemas.
