If you go to a tanning bed, Blaque Coffee is a great lotion since it has quadruple bronzers in it. But you shouldn't use it right away, I'd wait til you at least had a base tan. You don't want to get all streaked. I have never done the spray on tanning, but I bet that it works really well.

The sun? I'm guessing that's not an option, so I'd have to say, a tanning bed using an accelerator (lotion). If you go to a good place, they should have this and be able to tell you which works best with your skin. Spray tans look fake in my opinion and can rub off--though I guess they can serve their purpose short term if the person uses good product. I think you're not supposed to shower for a few hours afterward though. Maybe the same is true with the beds. Again--try the sun.

the best way to get an instant tan is a Mystic tan booth - the spray is very thin so there is no streaking or splotchyness - i've done it several times for an instant tan and i love it. don't go to just any spray tan places, spend a little more for a good reputable one, you'll be glad you did. i've seen some spray tan disasters and the stuff doesn't come off easily...

Go to a tan spray on booth. Just about all tanning salons have them and they literally take about 8 seconds. The longer you wait before you shower, the darker you get.

Please do yourself a favor, stay out of the sun. Just a small amount of time exposed to the sun can leave you with a lifetime of bad results.

Garnier is the best one I've used so far, doesn't leave orange marks and it goes away after 7 days and it will not leave patches. Or you could just go to the solarium (I go every now and again if I want a proper all over even tan).

regardless of whether u are going to do it outside or in a bed, i suggest using lotions formulated for indoor tanning...there are so many available, u can go to your local salon & the staff can explain the benefits of each one...there are amplifiers, accelerators, bronzers, tingle & combinations of the aforementioned...some good ones are made by swedish beauty, pro tan & fiesta sun...one extremely good one is the new "crystal" lotion by swedish beauty, it`s pricey (about $100 per bottle) but sooo worth it!!! happy tanning!!!
