I want to major in anthropology and I'm not sure which school I want to go to. I got accepted to University of Illinois at Chicago, Illinois State University, and Northern Illinois University. Which one is better?

To be honest you will probably get some unreliable info from this. You will have people who are going to be oh our school is better and others say this place sucks go somewhere else. The best thing to do is go to theses 3 schools and experience the atmosphere and look at their academic programs to see which one you like the best.

I really dont know anything about the state of Illinois, but if anyone happens to read this the University of Idaho is an amazing school. It has unbelievable cheap tuition and fees, lots of different fields of study (including anthropology), and its right on the washington border so we are 8 miles from Washington State University. Its a complete college town. There are so many opprotunities here, including a resident program with the fire department. Its awesome!!!

In general, UIC is considered to be the better school. ISU and NIU are about equal rank. Anthropology at UIC does have arrangements with the Field Museum.
