ahhhh....hold up for an answer my wife is in front of me right now and looking straight in my eyes. The funny thing is I know exactly what her eyes is saying, where are we going for dinner? You can talk with your partner even without words I guess, but I prefer to hear her feminine voice that still turns me on.

Your answer is NO, only deteriorating relationships shows those signs. But, it can be re-kindled by courting your wife like when you first met her.

A lot of marriages goes stale because of the lack of attention given to each other. You can still do this even if you have children.

Hell I can't get her to stop talking........who here is so lucky to have that serenity.

My wife sounds like this...honey wheres your wallet? Baby that bracelet is so cute what do you think? Hon - can I have some money to go out with the girls? Baby - my hair and nails need to be done this weekend? You SOB get up and get your own beer and make dinner for yourself!

I sound like this - eh babe have your period NO, get your sweet little butt here daddy needs some loving and do me good(lol)!

All jokes aside I love her very much and she feels the same way. Communication is very important in a marriage.
I guess we are still talking.

Hot,
Not at all. My wife and I have been married for 31 years and I will tell you now that if you want to continue to stay married as long as we have you will never quit talking to one another. Your spouse is an important part of your marriage. GOD is another important member of the marriage. HE is a very important member! Have a great life together.
Thanks,
Eds

It depends on your choice. I suggest you make time to talk together at least 30 min. a day when the kids aren't around. You have to plan the important things in life and communication is very important. If you can't think of anything to talk about, just sit together and snuggle.

While this does happen sometimes, it really shouldn't. Communication in a relationship is important both before, and after, marriage. It's important to keep the lines of communication open at all times.

No that is not true if he loves you... As the years go by it may slow down but that is what communication is all about , buy an egg timer & set it for however long & talk during that time if it helps...

It is easy to do when you get frustrated. It takes alot of work to keep open avenues of communication. You have to look at what you are willing to compramise. And not say things to crush the other persons feelings enough times they just shut down the communication.

Nope, but I do believe that it is easy to grow apart if neither of you are putting any effort or energy into the relationship. You have to make it a priority, not just think it will take care of itsself.

yes. my husband just annoys me now. When I do try to talk to him, he's too busy, or the kids interrupt me, or he just flat doesn't pay attention. I just get tired of trying to talk to him whether is about something important or frivolous. We have no quality time either without kids or outside of home, so that's a problem too.

There are some things that you don't talk about as much anymore because they become known quantities...but you never stop talking to your spouse.
