You know you are right. I remember my Mom, Grandmother and yes, even me darning socks. I have not heard of anyone lately darning. Of course our socks were wool now who knows what they're made of? We live in a disposable society don't we? I might find a pair and darn them just for fun. Hmmmmmm I wonder if anyone in my family would wear them? Good question , took me down memory lane. thank you

I do. Yeah, it's me.lol. I can buy onyx eggs in Mexico and insert them into the sock for the best shape to sew the sox up. Sox is an old spelling for socks. Have a darn good day.

I used to, it was kind of fun, but it really is faster to buy new socks, and the new ones last longer than the "darned" ones.

Darning seems to be a waste of time when socks are so inexpensive...besides, most socks are not made of wool, and you wouldn't be able to match the synthetic.

As so with jacking off, we want new and inventive common techniques to jack off as quickly as we've performed it for a quantity of time. i'm 40 4 years previous and merely found out appropriate to the sock technique. so which you will possibly me the sock is a clean sensation and a sense good. ??

Nope! It costs more to buy the needle and thread than a new pair of socks!

For me, only the cute ones!!! We've got soooo many plain, white socks (MIL tosses them in the Christmas baskets instead of paper) that when they get very worn and holey, we can just toss them or use them for cleaning and puppet shows. The cute ones, however, get fixed if they get holes.

I do! Just take a needle & thread & sew the hole together. When you go to the store, buy a new pair so that the pair you darned won't get another hole or bigger!

I have before, but it has been a long time ago. Now I throw them away and get new ones. It's easier.

I don't think many people do that anymore. It is a great idea and maybe we should bring it back. It sounds like you are quite the trendsetter.
