Lets say your on probation in texas, and you are also on probation in ohio. What would happen if you picked up a new charge? Would you have to do time for that charge, then time for the violation in texas, and then time for the violation in ohio?

What happened was that this person had charges in ohio, then went to texas and got caught with a fake ID, which is a felony. Since the person hadn't been sentenced in ohio yet, texas gave 7 years of probation. Then he went to ohio, and got 2 years probation on the original charges, so he was actually on probation in both states. I would think violating both probations would be possible by picking up another charge.

In order to be put on probation in ANY state, you have to commit a crime in that state. Doing so would violate your probation in the first state. Just being outside the state violates most probations. You should be behind bars in the first state for the violation that got you probation in the second. Violating both at once should not be possible.
