there was this trucker that broke down on the freeway, while he was putting out his reflector safety triangles, this chick on her cell phone ran him over at 75 mph and killed him.... killed herself too, she went over a 200 foot drop.

all the time. thank god for cruise control and large vehicles. if i hit something and they are in a smaller vehicle i win.

I sure as hell don't(kinda hard when you drive a car with a manual transmission, but I wouldn't do it anyways if I drove an automatic). I can't stand it when people do either. You can normally tell when someone does, too, since they tend to drift into other lanes. I saw one girl blabbing on her phone while driving a couple of days ago and she almost rear-ended the person in front of her that was slowing down for other traffic.

That sucks....I talk while I'm driving...not drive while I'm talking...the subtle difference is I'm paying attention to the road not the call...lots of times I have to get people to repeat something because I am not listening....

I usually tell people I'm going somewhere so I don't get phonecalls in the car. But I put it on speaker so i can still talk and have both hands on the wheel.

I cant drive yet, but i talk on the phone while i am riding in the car....

i try to keep it to a minimum, i pull off the road as soon as i can if i answer my phone while driving, & pull off before calling if at all possible...
