The Red Sox have one of the top 3 lineups in the AL and it was amazing how he was just mowing through those guys. Now that the M's are allowing him to throw that nasty slider I think he will continue to take the league by storm.

We shouldn't calm down because this guy's got 4 out pitches and no pitcher has had that since Pedro in his prime. Barring injuries he will be a Hall of Famer for sure.

I am a Red Sox fan, and I watched the game. Hernandez was FANTASTIC!! He threw every pitch he has in his repertoire, and threw them for strikes. He was amazing, and Mariner fans have every right to be excited. He may or may not throw a no hitter or a perfect game in his career, but barring injury, this guy is a certain hall of famer!!

Chow!!

I would have too say 2 or 3 no hitters and maybe 1 perfect game, if he's lucky....their have been only 13 perfect games that have gone 9 innings since 1900 and I haven't included those called perfect games that went less than 9 innings.

I know Sandy Koufax and Nolan Ryan have 4 no hitters each and Koufax does have 1 perfect game too.

maybe if he's lucky one no-hitter

do you know hard a no hitter is?

yesterday was an off day for the red sox, not to take anything away from Felix Hernandez.

I dont think he will throw a perfect game ever, he walked KEvin Youkillis in the 5th i think...?

But possibly a no-hitter

How old is he now? 21?

he's good

Hey Elliot L he's made 2 Terrific Starts
He's throwing more inning than all the veterans (who aren't "old")
he's a young gun and ready to step it up for a Bad Mariners lineup
Im gunna say 6 No Hitters and 1 Perfect Game

Whoa! Calm down!
He made one terriffic start, but let's see how he does the rest of the season before we start talking no hitters and perfect games.

He was nearly close to getting one at Fenway but didn't manage to. I could see him taking about 10 since he's still young.
