Reality is always here...its boring.
Imagination is what I live for.
Call me crazy.
Call me whatever you like.
But my mind makes me what I am,
my intellect and imagination.
My life is in my head, my thoughts,
in my fantasy...

Imagining a different reality is the best entertainment anyone could ask for, so for me yes imagination, reality can become predictable while imagination has no limits. And from imagination comes reality also, 70 years or so ago people thought music coming from a box was just magical or sci fi, and look at what we have now! boomboxes, and so much more!

I like imagination more because the limit is what you can conceive of, but reality is great because it shows what can happen. However, the lines between reality & imagination is really blurry as more things that were thought to be imagination or sci-fi are becoming reality.

is it either or?
isn't most entertainment (s/a movies) meant to be taken (at least temporarily) as a reality?
if you mean fiction/fantasy vs reality its really interesting because thats what art music and poetry aim at: describing reality through fantasy/abstract means. Doesn't beethoven's fifth (a totally abstract SOUND) describe reality quite well, or Shakespeare's Rom.&Jul. describe real issues such as hypogamy/hypergamy through entertainment? Both r really linked in my personal opinion GOOD QUESTION!

imagination, because I'm imagining myself away from the circumstances of my life and getting totally immersed in whatever I'm reading/listening to/watching
