i dont understand why some white people wanna call blacks and eachother the n word just because they hear black people saying it. whites said that word in the past to put down black people and show their "power" over them. many black people died and many white people got beat up so that all americans can be treated equally and not 2nd class citizens. black people can call eachother the n word because they are black and its nothing out of hate and they generally know what they go through. why is it that some white people feel that its ok that they hear blacks call eachother that they can say it? white people were never enslaved and then made 2nd class citizens and had to go through the struggle blacks went through here in america. peace

man some people are just ignorant or what. slavery was around long before africans where enslaved in america and yes many times these slaves WHERE NOT BLACK wheres my compensation for white slavery.

If the forefathers of the black culrure where not enslaved african americans would not be able to enjoy the freedom of this nation and would be starving to death in africa because of the lack of ability to adapt due mainly to ignorance and laziness.

It is sad to note how poor the people in africa are as it is a continent with abundant natural resources and potential. Any african american that feels that their freedom in america brought upon them by a white man is not enough for them compared to where they would be if it had not been for slavery is a ignorant a s s N I G G E R.

Not to mention the race aknowledges its own worthlessness by using the word N I G G E R upon themselves.

My white friends grew up in Black neighborhoods or neighborhoods near Black people. They are accepted, and when they say the N word, we all know they don't mean harm. They even call themselves that word. But racist make it look so bad, and want to reinforce it as a hateful word towards Blacks. I only call people racial slurs if they attack me with words! Other than that, me and my friends, joke around, and I'm pretty easy to get along with.

Double standard. If someone says the 'N' word and it ends with an 'A' it's considered a slang but if it ends in 'er' it's an insult. No one should use either deviation. In the end it's all the same thing. But to say that one race is allowed to say something and another race isn't, is racist.

I just caught something in your question. White people were never enslaved? I think you need to brush up on your history. Because the Jews were enslaved by Egyptians. Roman and Greeks kept white slaves. There are plenty of slaves of all colors all over the world today. Just because the enslavement of black people in America is the most recently huge one you can think of doesn't make it the only slavery that ever existed.

Indentured servant? LMAO! The same argument could be used with American slavery of Africans. I mean they got room and board and clothes, right? They were provided for and only a few plantation owners were cruel and rude, right? Slavery is slavery. To say that white people were indentured servants when they built the pyramids and were tortured is crap!

No, your talking about how one nationality is better then another and allowed to say something that another nationality isn't allowed to say. That is prejudice, no matter what pretty color you paint it. The paint chips off and the truth always shows through eventually. It's just that you painted it with very thin, watery, cheap paint.

I'm sorry, but I have a problem in today's society with any community or culture or race being able to use certain words that I, as a Caucasian, cannot. Words are either acceptable for us ALL or they are not acceptable at all.

What I know is that there is no more racial discrimination among the black and the white Americans. I live in the Philippines and I am a Filipina.

I agree one hundred percent. They need to stop trying to treat us the way we treat each other. We won't accept it from a race of people who dominated us for hundreds of years. And they are still trying to keep us down in subtle ways.

Its not that we want to say ni99er so badly. Its that we aren't able to use the same language as others and are loosing freedom of speech.
