Wash and dry them thoroughly. You can store Pasta; Sugar; flour; crackers; cookies; nuts like peanuts; almonds, cashews etc; chickpeas, kidney beans; and so on..... just any kind of dry foods you can store in those cans.

We have so many kind of dalls (like lentils) and flours. So, i store all of them in these formula cans only.

I have heard of people getting a square piece of lumber and then nailing the heads of the baby jars onto it. Then you can fill the jars with spices and screw the jars back onto the caps.

They also have a support on both sides with a nail or screw through it to let it spin or rotate. You can make it as long as you want say six jars wide. So that would be 6x4 =24 spices that you could store and when you wanted a spice, just rotate the rack till it is at the bottom and unscrew it and you have it. Screw it back on and spin it again and get another one.

I hope I have explained this enough to let you get the idea.

To recap: square piece of lumber with caps nailed on all four sides. The ends are attached to another piece of lumber on each side to allow the first piece to spin or rotate. So you have a 4 sided spice rack for free.

Good luck

I would wash them out really well, then save them for Christmas time. Wrap them in pretty paper (maybe contact paper) and use them to contain Christmas cookies, candies, etc for guests and gifts!! I've also used them for change banks for my kids with a picture of what they are saving for on it.

Cans are useless, either throw them away or recycle.
