Look up this web site:http://www.cfsan.fda.gov/~comm/lacf-phs.html for pH of food 0-7 is acidic 7.1-14 is alkali.

ph =14- poh and if ph less than 7 acidic if ph=7 neutral if ph greater than 7 basic
