Who thinks Howard K. Stern murdered Ms.Smith and her son? Just curious. It seemed/seems the media really doesin't wanna go there.

Let me see.... the media is the only reason this story is still around. If the media could push another twist into it like you have opined then I am sure they would.
The media not wanting to go there..... that is funny.
You know what some in the media were before they were reporters? People.

There is certainly enough circumstantial evidence to warrant further scrutiny. I'm sure that police have, or are, investigating that possibility.
I have heard a few news programs speculate about Stern's culpability, but not many.

I am betting he did,odd isn't how when it seems sooo obvious to common people who did it, that the cops seem to suffer from a bad case of the "Huh?'s"...
