Al Sharpton is a hypocrite who always talk about black rights and never do anything about it. He yaps his big mouth on T.V. all the time because that's the only thing that he knows anything about. He thinks that he can gain some popularity by firing back at anyone who says something slightly sensitive to the African Americans. You don't know how stupid he sounds, and one may not think that black people are racist too, but they are. Just imagine being the only Hispanic or Asian kid in a inner city, all black school. Would you think that person would get no racist remarks directed at the himself? (he'd probably get shot) For sure that person would receive racist remarks and racist jokes a lot worse than what Imus said.

And listen to the rap music nowadays(some are good, like the Black Eyed Pees) but most of them have the n word and the f word in them. Don't they give we non-black people the feeling that saying these controversial things are being accepted? African Americans are bringing us their own culture. And it's very powerful, and many of us are simply drawn to it.

We need Martin Luther King back..............

Well yes, Al Sharpton has said much worse things for which he never apologized, so he is a hypocrite.
And Imus was hired originally BECAUSE of his crude "humor," not in spite of it. Maybe it is out of style and unpopular now, so he got fired. This happens in the entertainment business. Radio people are fired for less all the time.

Are you familiar with the bromide, "as full of s**t as a Christmas turkey?" Sharpton could stuff enough turkeys to feed all our troops in Iraq on Christmas Day. I've been fired for far less, my friend and I hope Imus calls in a lawyer.

Not only are Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson hypocrits, they're also racists!

Where were they when the Duke University Lacrosse team was falsely accused by a black stripper?

While were talking about this. Don't you think Oprah is racist when she has the Rutgers University girls basketball team on her show, but doesn't have the Duke Lacrosse team on?

Indeed he is. The biggest hypocrite is Jesse Jackson, who should've recused himself from this mess after what he said about 'the hymies in hymietown.' If we are to forgive the Rev. Jackson for his remarks, why can't he do the same for Imus, who seems much more repentent.
