Anybody know how to take the smell of stale milk out of a carpet ? Only the same amount as goes into a cup of tea......but there is a mysterious pong.......and I am guessing it is that......I need to get it out....before the wife wakes up.....so the easier the solution ..the better it is !

Baking soda and water or Oxy clean...

You either have to oxygenate it via peroxide based cleaners or neutralize it by baking soda. SOur milk is a very powerful enzyme... It can even generate heat!

If you have some foam carpet cleaner, spray the area where you spilled it wipe it with a damp cloth. If not, use some dish liquid and a damp cloth. Be sure to soak up all the water,spray with some Lysol ,febreeze or what ever you have. Good Luck.

Try Oxyclean solution.

soap, lemon juice, and vinegar mix and apply

the soap will clean and lemon and vinegar kill any residing germs!

also soak it up and then allow it to dry
