Win 98 pc crashed, please help?

Recently installed Def Pro security and few days later upgraded to Win 98-scanned ok-but after upgraded to Win98 started having problems-then totally crashed-wanted to try Sys Restore but won't allow to go back before installs--did manage to remove Def Pro but when rebooted-all icons missing from desktop. Problem-don't have software or restore cd for Win95--can this be fixed? Please help--it's a Dell pc-also can get on internet now but no sound.

Ok since windows 98 and 98se and windows ME are not supported anymore by Microsoft you can try downloading a copy of a Disk by using bittorrent or P2P program like ARES and a CD-r
