My computer kept telling me my virtual memory was low. So I downloaded "ErrorSafe" and it could only fix so many probs. before I had to buy. It also said I had a DLL prob. so I did a scan for that and of course have to buy the "full version" to completely fix. Question..Is it worth it??? or what shall I do???

Don't buy anything.

DLL problems could be anything and normally not serious. If your not experienceing windows errors or other program errors then i would say your not in any danger. But if you want to check to see if window is having hidden DLL problems you can run a check disk. To do so just click Start>Run Type "chkdsk" without the quotes and follow the instructions. It will tell you that it need exclusive access to your disk and will ask if you want to schedule it to run upon boot up. Click yes and reboot your computer.

Just before windows starts Check Disk will begin scanning your hard drive and will fix any windows related problems it finds. Once complete Windows will start like normal.

As for the Virtual Memory problem. This normally means that your running our of Hard Drive space. Windows uses the free space in your Hard drive as virtual memory to supplement your RAM. To correct this you can free space by deleteing stuff like programs you don't use or files you don't need...or...you can buy a new hard drive and slave it to your current drive. Then transfer personal files like music, movies, documents, etc... to the new drive. You want at least 25% free space on your hard drive in order to maintain VM.

You can also try a defrag. To do this click Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Disk Defrag. Click the C:\ drive and click run. This will organize your hard drive and put all the free space at the end of the disk.

What I might suggest is to do a search on the "dll" file name. For example if the file name is "junk.dll" do the following:

Click on Start and then Search

Click on "For Files and Folders"

Click on "All Files and Folders"

Type in the file name such as "junk.dll" in the top box and then click on search. Let it do a complete search.

This should tell you what program it is associated with and you can reinstall that program.

Hope this helps.

Getting better RAM ought to help, yet digital memory refers back to the gap on the hardchronic that homestead windows makes use of like RAM. in case you get better RAM, then i'd imagine that homestead windows doesn't favor to apply the digital memory as a lot. make effective you get the right type, and get sufficient (4 GB is plenty).
