I've always heard that there are people who listen for certain words like this? If so, how is it possible?

True. If you use either of those words on the telephone, Cheney will send hit men from Haliburton to your house.

This is true to the best of my knowledge. It triggers some kind of program and you will get attention. There are other words that are on the no no list.

Edit: And how stupid am I? I'm talking to my friend in Florida and I repeated the question to him on the telephone.

You mean you can get ahold of the president? Hell If I could I would say " hey Bush you want one of my fart bombs over the phone here? I suspect he will have a good laugh. But since this is the real world your not talking to the president any time soon.

It's probably not good to use them in the same sentence.

Seriously, I don't think it's possible to listen to every single person's phone conversations for stuff like that.

No... not true!
There is, however, a "super computer" we have that does listen for certain words to "flag" for possible terrorist connections, (among other things), on all communication devices.

Like the Government has nothing better to do than listen to my conversations. It's a free country and I'll say whatever I want to.

No it's not true. You can say that on the phone then they will know you will bomb the president.

computers. voice recognition.

supposedly if the computer flags the conversation, then a person will listen to it to find out if there's a real threat.

hypothetically quite possible, can't tell you if it's true or not.

also who cares.
