The Imus comment????

Why are we as black sistahs gettin mad over something some old man said. Dont the rappers say the same stuff about us?? If R Kelly or Ludacris called us that we would throw our panties up on the stage!!!! No its not right what he said, but tell our brothers to stop calling us the same thing that Imus called us. In fact, rappers call us worse and what do we do but buy their cd's and call them sexy. We all need to wak up!!!

Racism will never go away unless this unbelievable double standard is abolished. As long as there are radicALs like Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson throwing "fuel on the fire" racism will always be present. White to black and black to white.

It's not about getting mad, Imus used very poor judgment thinking of his comments of the Rutgers Basketball Team has comic, These girls are college students that by the way are doing exceptionally well academic. He don't know them or the texture of their hair. What possessed him to call them Ho's I'm still trying to comprehend. As far as the rappers are concerned I have never listened to rap and have intentional to every listen to it for that reason. As long as people regardless of color continued to buy their music, watch their videos, star in their videos this will continue to happen. We must hold them accountable as society held Imus responsible.Educate the Youth of America that they are not what rappers portray them as
