He apologized Twice. what else does he have to do kiss there feet. they do seem like bullies looking at how far they spread this statement out "Nappy headed ho's" he did'nt say the "N" word so was it really racist come on, like the guy on msnbc said mind you he was black. he said " Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are like american terrorist spreading hate, this is'nt the 1940's anymore." Good for you! FINALLY, someone said exactly what I was thinking. Don Imus was railroaded. The last time I checked, we STILL are in AMERICA, where we DO have FREEDOM of SPEECH. If it is not ok for Don Imus to say "nappy headed ho", then EVERYONE who uses that phrase should be penalized. Racism is all about double standards. What we are seeing now is REVERSE racism. Why is it not just as demeaning for Snoop and the other rap artists to use this lingo? Don Imus was punished for using terminology that originated with the black community. I am furious, and worried about my future freedom of speech rights. This is censorship at its very worst. Was it offensive? Probably. Did he have the right to say it? DEFINITELY!

Hell Yes ! If you look at Imus shows From the start he been contraverseial. If you 'd herd him roast presadent Bill Clinton and listen to his radio show you'd know what to expect you like it or you don't, I myself like it and think CBS and MSNBC must have Tolerance Yes Mr Imus should be reprimanded but not fired .

Stop watching their shows, and stop buying the products that advertise on those stations. We can live without General Motors, American Express, Bigelow tea, there are alternatives. We could go outside Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson's homes and protest but I think we would be taking our lives into our hands. They have not won, they only win if we let them.. make sure we let our voices be heard, make sure we vote and see who is on our side and make sure they win in the elections!

I agree. The Liberals always talk about civil rights, well freedom of speech is the first amendment in the Bill of Rights. But if you say something they don't agree with, you better watch it. Where is the justice and Constitutional rights in that? (and the funny thing here, Imus is a self professed Liberal)

They did not win the war, just a minor battle, stand tall, my friend. Write a letter to the editor of Mr. Imus' hometown newspaper and pour it out in support. Write a letter to Sirius and ask them to open a position for and hire him, I will join you on thast one. Write a letter to the CBS broadcasting corporation as well as MSNBC and let them know how you perceive their action as "ingrown racism" against their own founders and that you, as part of the listening audience in a free country have been bred to resist bowing to oppressors in general.

the message we need to send is to the advertisers who have caused the dismissal of Imus..The truly non prejudiced that do not cave in to the double standard of blacks should boycott all msnbc advertisers.. They need taught a hard lesson...If we do not boycott them they will never learn, and it will only get worse...Kiss freedom of speech and truth goodbye or take Acton now...

actually both parties cry and want things to be censored if someone says things they are against . It's time for both the right and the left stop being wusses.
